Streamer fishing for large trout is more than our niche, it’s our passion. We specialize in streamer trips from May through November, and teach our clients how to target the biggest fish in the river. Our guides are absolute streamer junkies, and want nothing more than to see you holding the fish you came to Montana for. Trips range from instructional to advanced, but either way, you will most likely come back with a better understanding of a systematic approach to streamer fishing and useful tactics. Some of you will have to familiarize yourself with a totally new way of fly fishing– One that we find to be the most efficient way to maximize your opportunity at a fish of a lifetime. We recommend that you have a decent familiarity with a fly rod, and are up to slinging a 6-7 weight rod for extended periods of time, but will also teach anyone who has heart…regardless of skill level. The best way to prepare yourself for a streamer trip is to go into it with no expectations…This can be grueling work, and some days can be tough, but once you experience a quality day of streamer fishing, we think you’ll never be the same—It’s why we do what we do. The one thing you can count on is that you will have a great time on a beautiful river, learn a lot of new information, and may even discover a newfound addiction.
Float trips are $450.00 per day for one or two anglers. Price does not include flies or gratuity.
