| I just received a Scott S4 nine foot 6wt that I ordered and it came with a fighting butt. The shop owner and I both missed the butt option. I do not like the extra length that the butt gives you. This rod is for fishing Kelly's streamer method. Hey readers what are your thoughts on this topic. I am leaning toward a return for a regular butt. Thanks for your time. |

I think you will like it in many ways. That is if you like fishing big water for big fish... I just hope someday that Galloup would be so kind to gift me the original Powell 9ft 6wt prototype with a fighting butt. I bet its hanging on the side of the shop now. Secrets out!
