Galloup’s heifer groomer is the articulated version of the zoo cougar. When I first designed this pattern it did not have the back flank feather, and it was a pretty good fly. However, when andy sobota added the rear flank it became an incredible fly. The heifer groomer is an unweighted articulated streamer that throws a huge profile that big fish can’t resist. You won’t believe how this fly flutters and glides underwater. Colors: black,white, tan, olive and yellow. Available in sizes 4 and 6.
