Kurt’s Egg Drop Stone – Salmonfly

Description

Kurt’s egg drop stone has been a killer stonefly imitation for us on the Madison.  This pattern features a foam body, thin rubber legs, and just the right color of orange dubbing.  The gray wing matches the natural color found on most adult stoneflies, and gives this fly the same buoyancy and visibility as the popular chubby chernobyl.  The other cool thing about kurt’s egg drop stone is that it is tied on a stimulator hook, which allows the abdomen and black ice dub egg sac to dip just below the surface, just like the natural egg laying females.  Available in size 6.
