This pattern is Mike Lawson’s take on a traditional Chubby Chernobyl and man did he nail it. This golden stonefly version has a tannish-gold dubbing under cinnamon colored foam and a mottled EP fiber wing. This has been one of our better golden stonefly imitations on the Madison and Henry’s Fork over the last couple seasons, and it will also hang a larger pat’s rubber leg without sinking it. Available in size 8-10 and 16.
