The Slide Inn is one of Montana’s premier fly fishing destinations, with rustic cabins and RV spaces right on the upper Madison river. Our guests have exclusive wade access to over 500 yards along some of the highest fish-density water in Montana. You can catch the evening hatch right after dinner without leaving the property. We are situated in the 10-mile walk-wade only stretch of the Madison, perfect for DIY anglers with ample public access and fisherman’s trails all along the banks.

For those looking to explore the legendary waters of SW Montana and NE Idaho, the Slide Inn is possibly the most centrally-located options around. Anglers can easily make day trips out of Yellowstone Park to fish the Gibbon, Firehole, and Lamar Valley, head along Highway 191 to fish the Gallatin, or headhunt trophy fish on the Henry’s Fork. The amount of water in a 3 hour radius is nearly endless and our extended-stay guests frequently head over to the Ruby, Beaverhead, Jefferson, Big Hole, Yellowstone, Missouri, Snake, and Teton.

Log Cabin Duplex

$375.00 PER NIGHT – 3 Night Minimum

The Log Cabin Duplex units are the largest on our property, great for families or larger groups who want larger common areas and separation from other guests. Number one has a brand new queen bed downstairs, two single beds in the loft, a bathroom, full kitchen and, of course, a porch over looking the river. Number two has a bedroom with a queen bed downstairs, two single beds in the loft, a bathroom, full kitchen, and a porch on the river. The rate is based on 3 angler occupancy.

CABINS 1–4

$300.00 PER NIGHT – 3 Night Minimum

Cabins 1-4 feature a new queen and full size bed, full kitchen facilities, and a private bath. They also feature porches overlooking the Madison River . The rate is based on two angler occupancy.

CABINS 5-6

$150.00 PER NIGHT – 3 Night Minimum

Cabins 5 and 6 are set up for economical single anglers or couples who do not require full kitchens. They both feature a full bed, and a private bath, as well as a microwave, mini-fridge, and a coffee maker. Cabins 5 and 6 are were some of the original Yellowstone Ranger cabins, transported to the Slide Inn back in the 1950’s.

Cabins 7-8

Rate: $275.00 Per Night – 3 Night Minimum

Cabins 7 and 8 are at the far end of the property, featuring 2 double beds, a kitchen, and private bathroom. They sit on our main row of cabins with access to the Madison just fifty steps from the door.

STORE CABIN

$300.00 PER NIGHT – 3 Night Minimum

The newest addition to the Slide Inn, our Store cabin sits directly behind the shop, and features two new queen beds, full kitchen facilities, a private bath, and large porch with a barbecue. This excellent cabin is a great place to relax after a long day of fishing the Madison. Rate is based on two angler occupancy.

$75 per night or $1260 per month.

Up Charges & Lodging Tax

Room Up Charge: For each extra person in Store Cabin, Cabin 7-8: $60.00 per person

RV Up Charge: For each extra person after 3 people – $25.00 per person

Lodging Tax: 8%

Pet Policy: No pets allowed in cabins

CANCELLATION POLICY

A 50% deposit is required in order to make a reservation in one of our cabins or RV sites. Deposits are refundable minus a 5% credit card processing fee for changes made over 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. After this date you are responsible for your entire reservation regardless of the reason for cancellation. Early checkouts will not be reimbursed, if you should decide to leave before your original departure date you will be charged in full for your entire booked stay.
