Stoneflies
Stoneflies are our favorite bugs to fish because the fish that eat them tend to be on the larger side. We are fortunate enough to experience the legendary salmon fly hatch on the Upper Madison every Summer, and anglers from all over the country come to get in on the action. These 3 inch long stoneflies produce savage takes on the surface and bring up some of the largest fish in the river. In addition some of our favorite Salmonfly patterns, you will find Golden Stones, Yellow Sallies, and Skwalla imitations that we fish with confidence all across the Great Yellowstone Region.
