Mayflies
Mayfly nymphs and emergers are some of our favorites to fish. Green Drakes, Pale Morning Duns, Blue Winged Olives, Eperous, and Flavs are the most common ones we encounter in the greater Yellowstone region, but there are many others scattered throughout the country. They are generally grouped into four categories which include clingers, crawlers, burrowers, and swimmers and can be found in clean, cold-water fisheries throughout the world.
