Articulation wire & shanks are key to extend the length of your flies and fool predatory fish. Surflon articulation wire is our preferred method of making articulated streamers, but the shanks come in handy when you are tying game changers, intruders, or Kelly’s flies on single hook water. Splitting a large fly up and putting the hook point closer to the head will vastly improve your hookup rate.
