Madison River
Dam: 697 cfs
Kirby: 1,270 cfs
Varney: 2,130 cfs
Clarity Update: With the decrease in flows out of Hegben over the last couple of weeks, there has been a lot more dirty water entering Quake Lake via Cabin and Beaver Creeks. That being said, another plug of mud made its way into the river yesterday morning and our visibility went from over two feet to 10 inches just like that. How will this affect the fishing? The nymphing and streamer fishing should only get better but those of you who got a week of decent dry fly fishing on midges and BWOs will have to wait a little bit for things to get back into shape.
