The Cutter’s E/C Caddis is a killer little caddis pattern originally tied by Ralph Cutter. This pattern is a great choice when the caddis are starting to emerge from there shucks. This pattern incorporates z-lon for the tailing shuck that they are trying to break free from. A classic slim dubbing body. With a deer hair wing like most traditional caddis. The hackle instead of being palmered up the body is wrapped around the deer hair allowing for a very realistic viewpoint from underneath the bug. Winding the hackle around the base of the deer hair also helps the hair stick up higher allowing for easier visibility.
