This ringneck pheasant rump patch contains a ton of great feathers for your spey and dee flies, but we also use them for a number of our trout patterns as well. The long, “flowy” tips and iridescent sheen make these feathers ideal for soft hackles and other wet flies. We use them for pectoral fins on sculpin imitations like the butt monkey and trevor’s sculpin for their great shape and mottled look, but we have seen plenty of other streamers that have incorporated the feathers from a ringneck pheasant rump patch into the mix.
