The Iron X Caddis is another caddis pattern that should take up some space in your box. This caddis pattern is tied a little more full than other patterns creating it to float very well as well as giving a good underneath profile for the fish to see. It has a traditional elk hair wing like most caddis, it has a synthetic underwing that also adds floatation, and a hot spot on top of the deer hair so it is easy to see. The body uses a very buddy dubbing mix making it look ultrarealistic. This fly comes in sizes #16 and #18.
