    Each pack of MFC Barred Saddle Hackle contains a good amount of 5"-6" feathers that are sure to spruce up your favorite streamer and saltwater patterns.  One unique thing about these saddles is that they are dyed over white and then barred black using Montana Fly's proprietary bar-dying process that penetrates the feather rather than simply coating the surface.  What that means is that you get super consistent barring that will never fade in colors that were previous unavailable to the contemporary fly tyer.

    These saddle patches are an incredible value and contains feathers in a wide variety of sizes.  The majority of these saddles are best suited for streamers in the #6-#8 range, but you will also find feathers that can be used on much larger patterns in addition to smaller ones that are perfect for medium and large nymphs. Please note that because of the natural variants and barring on these feathers, each patch will be a little lighter or darker than others.

    Each schlappen patch contains a approximately 75 feathers ranging from 4 to 10 inches in length in a variety of different sizes.  These feathers are perfect for palmering up bodies on buggers, streamers, and saltwater patterns, but are also an invaluable tailing material for larger pike and musky flies.  Available colors: Orange Grizzly, Yellow Grizzly, Natural Grizzly, and Chartreuse Grizzly.

Each 1/8 ounce package of Nature's Spirit grizzly variant schlappen comes with high quality 4.5" - 6.5" feathers that are perfect for palmered bodies and deceiver tails on all your fresh and saltwater streamers.  We use these feathers for the hackle on our natural, olive, and yellow sex dungeons, but have also incorporated them into the tails of many of our new patterns.  From steelhead intruders to pike and musky flies, Nature's Spirit grizzly variant schlappen will give your patterns that killer variegated appearance you've been looking for.

    Each Whiting schlappen bundle contains approximately 36 feathers between 6-10 inches long.  These schlappen feathers are great for wooly buggers, but can also be used to make huge deceiver-style tails on streamers.  These a must for musky and pike flies.

    These strung saddles are approximately 6-7" long, and have a wide variety of uses for tying streamers. This is a good choice for when schlappen becomes a little too webby for you. Each package of strung saddle hackle is approximately a 1/4 ounce, and all colors are dyed over white with the exception of black.

    These long, webby feathers breath life into any streamer pattern once they begin to billow and undulate underwater.
