The C&F Design Midge Regular Bobbin Holder is a great bobbin for tyers from beginners to experts. This bobbin is on the heavier side of bobbins allowing for constant thread control. Another aspect of the bobbin that helps with thread control/pressure is the small slit foam piece that is placed inside the bobbin tube. The tube itself is made of ceramic (zirconia) making it harder to break your thread with it being so silk smooth. This bobbin has a small narrowed down tip allowing you to get around those small hooks without taking away your sight from the fly.
