This handy hook and hackle gauge fits most vise stems, and makes sizing your hackle a breeze. To determine hackle size, simply bend the hackle around the pin at the bottom of the gauge and the tips will indicate on the curved graph the correct size hackle. This gauge will correctly identify hackle sizes between #4-#22 and #4-#16 hook sizes.
