Silvey’s Beadhead Primetime Pupa

Silvey’s BH Primetime Pupa has been one our best caddis pupa imitations on the Upper Madison for quite some time, and we have found it to be equally as effective on many other surrounding rivers.  It features a mylar underbody encased in Antron, a small amount of grizzly marabou for the legs and two grizzly hackles for the antenna.  The bead is hidden in the thorax of the fly, allowing this pattern to be used as a dropper off your dry fly or simply nymphed under the waters surface.  Available in size 16.
