Silvey’s Yellow Sally continues to be one of the most effective yellow sally imitations for us on the Madison. Most commercial sally patterns you find are usually yellow bodied with a red egg sac, and while you do find quite of few of those insects flying throughout the country, there are a wide array of other species out there. The color scheme on silvey’s yellow sally more accurately imitates that mottled golden hues of the the yellow sallies we encounter on the Madison, and it will also help your fly stand out from the standard yellow stimulators that most anglers are using. Available in size 16.
