Whiting American Grizzly Rooster Saddle Feather is one of the best values in fly tying, and features a wide range of feathers. Whiting’s genetic american feathers were specifically engineered to provide the best salt, fresh, and warm water feather hackle necessary for the rigors of tying and fishing large flies. The bottom third of each cape contains feathers between 3″-5″, which is perfect for buggers and saltwater patterns in size 10 or larger.  The last two-thirds of the cape contain long, webby feathers between 5″-9″ which can be used for large deceiver-style tails on trout and warm water streamers alike.
