The Little Green Machine is one of the most popular mayfly nymphs we sell at the shop. Both colors of this fly are extremely productive for our spring and fall baetis nymphs, and we use the pheasant tail variation in #16 for PMDs and Eperous. Description
Wilcox’s Little Green Machine is one of the most popular mayfly nymphs we sell at the shop. It features a few pheasant tail fibers for the tail with a body wrapped with midge tubing, and an antron wing with just the right amount of ice dub in the thorax. Both colors of this fly are extremely productive for our spring and fall baetis nymphs, and we use the pheasant tail variation in #16 for PMDs, Eperous, and other mayfly nymphs. If you have yet to fish a little green machine, do yourself a favor and grab a few for your nymph box.
