Description
The x caddis was created by Craig Matthews of Blue Ribbon Flies, and has since become one of the most effective dry flies in the West. Craig developed this pattern in order to imitate the freshly emerged adult still struggling to escape its nymphal shuck, and is one of our go-to’s during a caddis emergence. The x caddis features a deer hair wing, dubbed body, and a z-lon shuck and belongs in every angler’s caddis box.
