Demoe’s Mill Creek Golden was a great golden stonefly pattern for us on the Madison last Summer. It features a dubbed underbody, foam head, plenty of rubber legs, and a deer hair wing. One thing we love about this fly is that the body color is sort of a hybrid between a golden stone and a salmon fly, and can pass for either when both species are on the water.
