Montana Intruder

The Montana intruder comes to us from the guys over at The Fly Project in Great Falls, Montana. This pattern was inspired by the Intruder style design that has become synonymous with steelhead fishing throughout the world, but the construction and materials that are used is definitely with trout in mind.  The Montana Intruder is tied on a 25 mm articulated shank trailing a #6 Gamakatsu Octopus hook, making it a great choice for swinging and stripping alike.  It features UV tan laser dub wings, a gold UV polar chenille body, and a bunch of gold and copper flashabou to make this fly sparkle like crazy underwater.
